Setup
Creating virtual machine
- Open virtual box
- click on new
- select type as "linux" and version as "oracle(32-bit)"
- select ram 512 MB
- create virtual hard drive -> vdi -> dynamic allocation -> 20GB
- now go to settings of the machine
- go to storage
- Select empty, controller:IDE and choose iso file of Tiny core linux
- Click on ok
- Now start the machine
- Select the first option using arrow keys and press enter
- Now follow the instructions
- Select the TC install icon at the bottom of the screen which will open an installation window.Select sda and check "install boot loader" and click on the -> arrow
- Select ext4->->Check all boxes except "core only"->Proceed
- After installation, you will get a window as below showing that installation has been completed.Then select the TC exit option and shutdown the virtual machine
- Go to storage and remove the iso file
- Now start the virtual machine
- Your Tiny core is ready to use!!!
